COLOUR
To colour in you have to make a palette with different colours for the line work and colouring in. this is so they’re separate and you can edit or change the colour later in production if you need to.
AFTER EFFECTS
right click in after effect, bottom left layers, for null object. Parent and linking different objects together.
making a looping texture:
interpret footage -> main .
copy layer then click Track matte. change to Alpha matte.

Initially for the design of the friend of the protagonist in this short, she had wavy hair. Both designs at one point were very realistic but as Ive progressed with development of the short i realised that having that much detail would be unrealistic.
So now instead ive decided to make the human characters more stylised as well. I wanted the human characters to have more contrast from the non human characters to have more contrast. I think it’d also add to humour of the audio as well, but it wasnt ment to be.
Ive been struggling to create work for this project due to a lot of factors outside of my control. My health along with numberous other things have made this very hard to keep up with.
